The Association of Librarians in Public Sector (ALPS), Inc. in partnership with the Provincial Learning and Resource Center-Cagayan and the Tuguegarao City Public Library invites you to the 1st National Convention of Public Librarians on  June 20-23, 2017  at Hotel Roma, Bonifacio Street, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan with this year’s theme, “Public Libraries: Rebuilding, Redefining and Rebranding.”

In line with this, librarian and staff from public elementar2322y, secondary, colleges and universities, LIS teachers and LGU-operated public libraries are the target participants of this convention. Moreover, there will be a Book Allocation to be given to the first 50 participants representing their libraries during the said event.

The registration fees are as follows:

  • P4,700.00 ~ Early bird (limited to 20 slots only) for members or non-members of ALPS:

Those who registered online and paid their registration through bank on or before May 15, 2017

  • P5,000.00 ~ ALPS paid member for 2017

Those who did not meet the early bird requirement

  • P5,500.00 ~ ALPS non-members

Those non-members who did not meet the early bird requirement

Payment may be made in CASH or by CHECK payable to Association of Librarians in Public Sector, (ALPS) Inc. Cash or Check payment may be deposited to BDO Account No. 004510878446 (Account Name: Association of Librarians in Public Sector (ALPS), Inc.) Deposit slip should be scanned and sent to roilingelc@yahoo.com or presented (original and photocopy) during the Convention. Official receipts will be issued onsite.
