Ms. Maria Victoria Anonat, of University of Nueva Caceres with Mr. John Lyndon Amaza of Ateneo de Naga university among with the 15 other newly licensed Bicol Region Librarians were honored last May 8, 2014 at the Amphitheater, Madrigal Building, Ateneo de Naga University.
In its 4th year anniversary of providing recognition to Bicolano Librarians who brings honor and pride to the region, the Bicol Region Librarians Council celebrates its two outstanding librarians: Ms. Maria Victoria Anonat, of University of Nueva Caceres, who ranked 1st Place and Mr. John Lyndon Amaza of Ateneo de Naga university, who ranked 9th Place during the Librarians Licensure Examination 2014 last April 23-24, 2014, held on Legazpi City, Albay. Mrs. Corazon M. Nera, former Chair of the Board for Librarians, with Mr. Stephanie A. Granatin, BRLC-Presdient, awarded the certificates to the passers. This activity is the council’s way of promoting librarianship as a profession and a way to inspire Bicolano Librarians to excel as an individual in their chosen career.
