The Philippine Librarians Association Inc. (PLAI) proudly congratulates Data Bank Senior Information Assistant of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) and PLAI Western Visayas Region Librarians Council President, Mr. Stephen Alayon for winning the Special Libraries Association (SLA) Asian Librarian Award 2014 conferred by SLA Asian Chapter and sponsored by IEEE. He was honoured twice at the SLA Conference: during the IEEE Customer Breakfast Event and the SLA Asian Chapter Meeting and Awarding Ceremony. The SLA 2014 Conference was held from 8-10 June 2014 in Vancouver, Canada.
